Health is a Choice

When you truly decide you want a thriving body of maximum health, you must then refine and/or possibly relinquish desires that no longer contribute to your full potential.
Remember, you’re very likely going to have lingering desires from a time when you valued money more than health, or status or approval from your parents more than happiness, or taste of food more than amount of nutrients it has.

This doesn’t mean you are going to have to give up eating tasty food all the time. This just means that eventually, you will care so much about your health that, for the most part, you will not eat something tasty unless it is also healthy. So if you have a work environment with no healthy food around, this means you value your health so much that you prepare your food the night before and bring health wherever you go. Now, you can have health while eating unhealthy food, you just have to make sure that the scale is tipped MORE towards the side that you want. I stay more towards 80% healthy, and the rest is for play, desserts, snacks, and “soul food” so to speak :)

Mental health is just as important. If you were a person who valued their health more than or at least just as much as money, you wouldn’t  hold yourself back with proving something or credentials or feeling like you worked SO hard for where you are now that to throw it away is unacceptable! The bottom line is, if you hate where you are or it is such an unhealthy environment because of negative people or a mean manager, it’s time for change.  If what you are doing just isn’t what you feel deep down inside that you are here on this planet to do, you must either 1) gain clarity as to how your present position is leading you to what you ultimately want to do and keep focused on that fact throughout your day, bringing a sense of purpose and growth to your daily activities, or 2) QUIT!

People who value health do not put up with unhealthy behavior and environments. They know they want to be healthy and they strive every day to get to and maintain that treasurable state.

If you have trouble with CHOOSING health, yet you know you want to, this is where guidance comes in handy. When you are stuck in the trap of "I do, but I don't" you don't move anywhere, taking one step forward and one step back, unsure of why you can't get yourself to truly want to go to work or want to eat that healthy food or want to do that workout, etc.

This is all transformed through the understanding of what is really going on, and the courage, perseverance and consistent refinement of your intent and actions.

To end this post on an insightful note: Ask yourself this question, What would you do, be, or have, if you knew nothing could stop you? Once you answer this question, you will have a good sense of your true self. Your unlimited inheritance that has been covered up by fear, lack, worry, limitations, and so on. Write your answer down somewhere special so that you can return to and refine it often. As long as you keep stayed on it, and exterminate all obstacles, you will live your dream sure enough.
